DLM Groundworks, established in 2017 by Damian Sutton, has quickly grown to become one of the largest groundworks providers in the south east of Ireland, offering services in Groundworks, Site Clearance, Civil Engineering, Demolition, Drainage, Electrofusion, Astroturf Pitches, Grassfields, and Haulage. Damian’s expertise stems from years of experience working in his family’s well-known business, Sutton Plant Hire, a company founded by his father, Jim Sutton, in 1956.
DLM Groundworks began as a Plant Hire company with humble beginnings, Damian’s Father Jim originally founded Sutton Plant Hire, Jim’s first piece of equipment was a Fordson Major tractor with a front loader. Over the years, the business grew, and in 1988, James Sutton Plant Hire took over the operations of Sutton Plant Hire (Wexford) Limited, continuing to expand its fleet and capabilities.
DLM Groundworks operates from Aldridge, Co. Wexford, working with Ireland’s largest developers and contractors, including Sisk, HSE, Rhatigans, Roadstone, Tom O’Brien Construction, and Robert Quinn. Damian Sutton carries forward this legacy through DLM Groundworks, delivering quality and reliable services.
